Logan Dunning-Beck & Oscar Gunn Win 49er Nationals

Logan Dunning-Beck and Oscar Gunn win 2018 Mackay Boats 49er Nationals.
Some great sailing by Logan and Oscar against some tough opposition saw them take the title with Issac McCardie and William McKenzie 2nd and Josh Porebski and Trent Rippey third.

This from Logan:

"Over the weekend just passed we won the 2018 Mackay Boats 49er Nationals.

Some great sailing against some tough opposition saw us take the title with Issac McHardie and William McKenzie 2nd and Josh Porebski and Trent Rippey third.
The regatta was moved from Murrays Bay to Torbay at short notice due to the launching conditions. Sailing conditions were challenging with a building breeze and lumpy sea state making for hard work keeping the boats upright. Five races were sailed the first day with the second being abandoned after the fleet were sent ashore twice. Firstly for minimal visibility in heavy rain and the final time due to high winds and poor visibility causing the RO to abandon racing."
