Andy & Josh take on Olympic Finn Class

Harken New Zealand / Fosters sponsored Olympic team Josh Junior & Andy Maloney are taking on the Finn class in the lead up to the next Olympics in Tokyo 2020.

Andy Maloney says: “We are really excited about what we have planned for this year. Getting back to our Olympic Dinghy roots this year in the Finn Class is going to be really fun, and a great challenge. We have a solid two months of testing and training planned at home in NZ, which should set us up nicely for the year of competition. Our first international event will be the European Championships in Cadiz, early March. “ “With the sailing side of Team New Zealand being quiet this year, we are loving the chance to be back giving the Olympic circuit 100%. “ “We both really appreciate the continued support from Harken NZ. I've attached a couple snaps that our mate got one morning while rigging up for our first week of training in 2018. We are hoping to get him out on the water over the coming weeks to get some great sailing shots. “

Harken New Zealand / Fosters Ship Chandlery are proud to support the next generation of top New Zealand sailors.
