DELIVERY & RETURNS

DELIVERY INFORMATION

We try to keep delivery costs to an absolute minimum whilst offering the best possible delivery service.

Delivery costs will depend on the weight and size of the items you have ordered and your location.

When you checkout you will be shown the standard delivery options available and their associated costs. 

 

Rural Delivery (RD) charges will be added to your total payment where applicable.

     

New Zealand Delivery

Where possible we offer three delivery options.


Collection

We welcome collection from our Retail shop and Warehouse at 129 Westhaven Drive Westhaven, Auckland.

Opening hours are 8.00am-5.00pm weekdays and 9.00am-4.00pm Saturdays 

 When placing your order on-line, select our address for delivery and leave a note in the comments section.


Standard Delivery by Courier network

Average delivery times for 'in stock' items are 1-3 days. Rural Delivery (RD) will be longer, and will incur additional RD charges.

If the wrong freight option is selected in checkout, an additional charge may be added to your credit card.


Couriered items may require a signature on delivery, so it is preferable to use a business delivery address if possible as residential addresses are often more difficult to locate resulting in a possible delay. 

Please note that if the couriers find nobody available to sign for the package, a notification card will be left at the delivery address and the package returned to the depot. It is your responsibility to contact the courier company to arrange re-delivery or collection. Failure to do this will result in the package being returned to us and you will be responsible for the return delivery costs.

In the comments section of your order you can instruct the courier to leave the package without signature.

Larger Items that are too large for the Courier network.

Larger items will go via a commercial freight service and will take longer.  Delivery will be to the closest Depot of the freight company, from where goods will be collected.  Delivery to your home or business will incur extra costs. Please check the goods throughly on collection and before signing for them.  If damage is found later, the freight company will not cover the cost of the damage and it will be your loss. 

RETURNS

If you wish to return or exchange an item.

Fees
The Company reserves the right to charge a minimum of 10% of invoice value (value of goods excluding shipping and packaging) handling fee for returns.

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). All personal safety products (not limited to and not excluding life jackets, safety lines and safety harnesses).  Due to the unknown nature of safety equipment returns outside of warranty will not be accepted.  The sole purpose of this clause is to limit risk to dealers and end user’s.We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges
Reach out to our team and we'll advise on the best option if an exchange is possible. Fosters will not pay for shipping changes for change of mind or wrongfully ordered products.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using this website the user consents to and accepts these Fosters terms and conditions. Fosters may update or change these terms and conditions at any time or times without notice.

A correctly placed order will generate an automatic email in acknowledgement. If any issues such as lack of availability and price increases occur with an order, Fosters will attempt to contact the customer who placed it and where possible at Fosters discretion offer alternatives or refunds. Refunds will be in final settlement of any claims against Fosters.

Inevitably some measurements and functional details will vary from time to time without notice and stock is subject to availability and may not be accurate on the website.

This site can contain content and links from/to third party websites. These have not been organised by Fosters and are not controlled by Fosters. They are provided for customer convenience only.

These terms and conditions and any matters or disputes connected with this site will be governed by New Zealand law.
